Middle East Outbound Travellers Report (2008)

The Middle East was the best performing region in duty free and travel retail in 2008 with retail sales up by 16.2%. Despite the current economic downturn, infrastructure and airline route development in the region continues, in anticipation of brighter times ahead. This report will help provide deeper insight into the travellers from the Middle East and their duty free & shopping behaviour, bringing together data from ten different countries within the region and across all product categories.
