What is ASUTIL? (Asutil Conference)

ASUTIL (Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres) is the trade association for duty free and travel retail operators and suppliers in South America. Based in Montevideo, ASUTIL works to defend the interests of its members through advocacy work and the organization of events and seminars, including the ASUTIL Conference.

This year, the ASUTIL Conference, managed by TFWA, takes place on 19-20 June 2024 in Bogotá, Colombia.

Who attends this event? (Asutil Conference)

The ASUTIL Conference typically welcomes all companies active in the South American duty free market, including retailers at airports and at border crossings, airline and ferry concessionaires, airports, airlines and maritime operators. Also present are the many brands and suppliers doing business in the region. ASUTIL also invites its partners in regional governments (eg Customs) to attend the event.

Contact TFWA by post at 23-25 rue de Berri, 75008 Paris, France, quoting the following text: “As indicated in article 38 of the French law on online privacy, I wish to object to the online publication of the image in the (insert name here) section of tfwa.com for the following reason(s)…” Your letter should be signed and include the postal address to which TFWA should respond. Please also enclose a copy of photographic identification (passport, driving licence etc.) bearing your signature. Note: The right of objection (cf CNIL) is personal in nature and cannot be exercised on behalf of others apart from minors or protected adults.
