After a two-year hiatus caused by Covid-19, TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference will reopen for business at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in May. While international travel remains inaccessible to many in the region, the return of physical events offers hope of better days to come. Featuring a revised format to provide a safe environment for working and socialising, the 2022 edition of TFWA’s Asian show opens on Monday 9 May with a full Conference between 2pm and 6pm Singapore time. Speaker presentations will be livestreamed for virtual participants on TFWA 365, the Association’s digital platform. Running from 9am on Tuesday morning to 5pm Thursday afternoon, the Exhibition will bring together many of the industry’s best-known brand names and rising stars. TFWA i.lab will occupy a dedicated space to present the latest ideas on engaging and better serving today’s travelling consumers. An upgraded version of TFWA 365 introducing multiple new features will also be on show.

Networking is set to play a prominent role at the event, subject to local health protocols. The Opening Cocktail from 7:30pm on Monday evening, health situation permitting, will give many delegates their first opportunity since 2019 to mix socially with other industry professionals. A new TFWA Asia Pacific Lounge will welcome exhibitors and visitors on Tuesday and Wednesday evening to relax and enjoy a drink after a busy day at the Exhibition. Following the successful returns of TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes last October and November’s MEADFA Conference in Dubai, the resumption of TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference marks an important moment in duty free and travel retail’s Asia Pacific reopening.

Visitor pre-registration for TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference 2022 opens in mid-February at tfwa.com.
