After a successful debut in 2018, The Royal Mougins again played host to the TFWA Golf Tournament. The 18-hole, par 71 course is over 6,000 metres long, with challenges for players of all abilities. A rich haul of prizes awaited the most successful (or luckiest), but it was the taking part that mattered most.

Participants enjoyed the French Riviera’s beautiful coastline from power-assisted e-bikes. Groups of 10 riders, each led by an instructor, explored some of the most stunning seaside landscapes the Côte d’Azur has to offer. We provided the e-bikes, backpacks and energy bars plus a post-pedal picnic; riders brought their sense of adventure.
The only one of its kind worldwide, the International Perfume Museum takes visitors through the social and cultural history of fragrances as well as explaining how they’re made. The museum tour, taking in the multi-level terraces and nearby botanical garden, included breakfast and lunch in an experience that no fragrance-lover could afford to miss.
Two open-air sessions with expert practitioners on the rooftop of the Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel provided spectacular ocean views to accompany the stretching and breathing exercises. Participants got their fill of mental and physical well-being (and the special detox breakfast) before an intense week’s work.
Players sampled some pure Provençal culture to the gentle click of the boules, a glass of pastis in hand. The pace seemed relaxed but the competition was often intense in this traditional sport where cunning and strategy play their part. Plentiful prizes and an appetizing lunch rounded off the morning’s play.
Four crews joined professional skippers aboard their yachts for some competitive sailing in the Bay of Cannes. Some took their turn at the helm, others helped with the sails or simply cooled their toes in the water. A waterborne picnic and post-race swim added to the enjoyment.
