Andrew Ford has a thorough knowledge of the global airport commercial ecosystem, especially as it pertains to improving strategies and enhancing retail revenues. He commenced his career with 12 years at Allied Domecq, marketing and selling internationally the company’s portfolio of wine & spirit brands in the duty-free channel of trade and Asian domestic markets. He subsequently became CEO of TFWA for 7 years where he focused on developing the Association’s business globally. In 2006, his fondness for Asia brought him to Hong Kong as Vice President, Global Business Development with DFS Group, the international duty-free retailer majority owned by LVMH.

In 2016, Andrew developed Paccaya Resources Ltd. as an advisory firm based in Hong Kong. The team works with multiple clients (airports, government tourism authorities, and some exclusive luxury brands) to develop strategies and improve financial returns from airport travel retail. Over the years Andrew has been an Executive Board member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), and both board member and President of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA). He is very much involved with the global airport’s association, ACI, and currently sits on the Asia Pacific Advisory Board and World Economic Standing Committee, and is Chair of the Airport Non-Aeronautical Revenues and Activities Committee (ANARA).
