Ersin Inankul

Chief Digital and Commercial Officer

Ersin İnankul is the Chief Digital and Commercial Officer at Istanbul Airport Group (IGA), responsible for commercial development, retail management, customer experience, duty free and F&B operations, and digital services.

In his current role, Ersin is overseeing a new digital strategy for commercial activities at Istanbul Airport to better understand customer behaviour across all channels. He is developing a unique and open commercial platform for technology-enabled collaboration with all related parties to enhance the services they offer and improve the passenger experience.

From 2015-2018, Ersin served as CIO of IGA Construction Group, builder of the world's biggest airport at Istanbul. He began his career in 1998 and has worked as a project manager and consultant in the fields of airport systems, telecommunication, complex system integration, and process optimization.

Prior to joining IGA, Ersin held management roles at TAV group. In 2005, he was IT Project Manager at two airports in Georgia. Between 2007 and 2010, he served as IT and Integration Project Manager at two airports in North Africa. He was subsequently appointed Infrastructure Manager in TAV Information Technologies and later became Deputy General Manager of the company.
